About Drive Mad
Drive Mad is a side-view driving game with a mischievous streak. You pilot a series of ridiculous vehicles across obstacle courses full of ramps, bridges, gaps, and collapsing platforms, and simply reaching the finish line in one piece is a genuine accomplishment.
The catch is that each level may hand you a different vehicle with its own physics. A truck that flips if you breathe on the throttle, a car that snaps in half on a hard landing; learning how each one behaves is the heart of the game, and the difficulty climbs steadily as the levels progress.
How to Play Drive Mad
There is no steering left or right; the vehicle only drives forward or backward, and everything else is down to throttle control and physics. Press and hold the spacebar, D, or the right or up arrow to accelerate, and use A or the left or down arrow to reverse.
Finding the right speed
Every obstacle has a speed that works. Charge a ramp too slowly and you will not clear the gap; hit a fragile bridge too fast and you will flip or break apart. Watch how the vehicle reacts on your first attempt, then adjust on the retry.
Tips for tricky levels
- Feather the throttle on narrow platforms instead of holding it down.
- Use reverse to reposition before a jump you are unsure about.
- Expect the vehicle to change between levels and adapt immediately.
- Restarting is instant, so treat failed runs as free practice.
