Orbit Beats
About Orbit Beats
Orbit Beats is a rhythm game of beautiful simplicity and brutal precision. Two planets, one of fire and one of ice, orbit each other as they travel along a winding path, and a single button controls their entire journey.
Each tap steps the pair forward one tile, but only when it lands in time with the music. The tracks twist into corners, spirals, and sharp turns that change the rhythm of your taps, and a single mistimed press sends the planets tumbling back to the start or the last checkpoint. Different worlds bring their own shapes, beats, and rhythmic puzzles.
How to Play Orbit Beats
The whole game runs on one input: click, tap, or press a key in time with the beat. Each well-timed press advances the planets to the next tile; each sloppy one ends the run.
Starting a level
Watch the countdown carefully and land the very first tap cleanly, because a missed opening resets the attempt immediately. A smooth start sets the rhythm for everything that follows.
Reading the path
- Straight stretches call for steady, even taps.
- Corners and turns change the timing, so adjust your rhythm as the path bends.
- Listen to the music as much as you watch the track; the beat tells you when to press.
Improving your timing
- Play early levels slowly and deliberately to internalize the beat.
- Do not panic-tap after a mistake; recover the rhythm first.
- Checkpoints save progress on longer levels, so reaching one is always worth a careful tap.
