BitLife compresses an entire human life into a series of decisions. Starting at birth, you age year by year and choose how your character studies, works, loves, and occasionally makes terrible mistakes, with each choice rippling forward into an unpredictable personal story.

No two lives play out the same way. One run might produce a celebrated doctor, the next a career criminal, and the game tracks it all with dry humor and surprising depth.

How to Play BitLife

Start a new life, then use the Age+ button to advance one year at a time. At each stage, the game presents scenarios and choices: how to handle school, which career to pursue, who to date, and how to manage money and health.

Key screens

• Information panel: an overview of your character's identity and status.
• Stats panel: detailed attributes like health, happiness, smarts, and looks.
• Life history: a running record of your character's major events.
• Settings: where you can abandon a life and start a new one.

Tips for a good life

Keep your stats balanced; neglecting health or happiness catches up with you. Education opens better careers, relationships need attention to survive, and risky choices can pay off or end a life early. When a story runs its course, start fresh and see where different decisions lead.
