About Forest Mouse

Forest Mouse shrinks you down to whisker height for a surprisingly full little life. As a small mouse in a big world, you explore a vast forest and a cozy cottage, gathering hay, nuts, berries, and mushrooms while keeping hunger and energy in balance and steering clear of predators.

Progression gives the sim real heart: build a nest from branches and hay, complete quests to level up, find a spouse at level 10, and raise baby mice at level 20, teaching your pups to survive.

How to Play Forest Mouse

Roam the environment collecting resources and interacting with bushes, trees, and logs. Watch your hunger and energy meters constantly, and return to your nest to rest and recover. Quests grant experience that unlocks the family milestones.

• Arrow keys or WASD: move
• Spacebar: jump
• E: eat
• F: drop or pick up
• Q: attack

Skins and Abilities

Spend collected food on skins in the main menu, from the battle-ready Mouse-knight with boosted health and attack to the friendly Home Mouse who gets along with cats.

Survival Tips

• Stockpile food before exploring far from your nest.
• Avoid larger animals until your stats improve.
• Keep a spouse gathering alongside you to double your income.
